Don't see many regular cab, short box pickups these days.  Spotted in Kenora, Ontario.

There is a few near me, I always think it looks like a toy version.

Like I get the single cab, but why not get a useful box size?

I saw one recently...but it was lowered.  It was done nicely and correctly.

Looked like a "muscle" truck.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

It’s got the same size box as most trucks out there.

Agreed, but a lot of people get the 5.5' with a crew cab, so at least part of the truck is useful. What's the upside of getting the shortest cab AND the shortest bed?

And fits in the garage.  Be a great, useful, second vehicle if you don't have kids.

Older trucks are better proportioned with single cabs / short beds.

Worst are the RAMs - they look like doberhuahuas!

*shrug*

The only practical consideration would be if they're planning to jack it waaay up for off-roading.  Shorter wheelbase means better breakover angle.  Otherwise...  *shrug* they just look silly to me.

I dropped off my spoiler to be painted at a new place nearby. Guy built a paint booth on his property.

From the UK, he showed me certification for both countries and some photos of his work. Nice stuff!

Had some interesting cars there. 76 Beetle, Nissan Figaro, older Merc SL. He also built a 6 door full sized Ram because "I saw one at SEMA and thought I could do a better job".

Then he uncovered his pride and joy: A blue Ford Escort Cosworth RS! Engine moved to 600hp! It's spectacular in every way!

A few days ago I saw a MINT NA Miata in white picking up click n collect groceries at our local Superstore.  I stopped to talk with the owner on my way out, and paid my compliments to her car.  Apparently she was the original owner.  Beautiful, beautiful car.

Seen a lot of C8's recently, but one stood out, red, without the rear wing. Looked a much cleaner design.

The C8 is very colour sensitive IMHO, it looks awful in some colours, and great in others.
