Bright yellow VW Thing, motoring along happily in traffic. Sort of looks like the G-wagens tiny grandfather

Bella's old Mini Cooper was parked outside where I stored the SLK. Should've taken more pictures, but the right rear quarter is all rusted out by the taillight, but the left rear is perfect which is the one we had replaced under factory warranty & the rear hatch as well.

Bright red R8 grabbing groceries.

Jaguar F Type SVR.

Saw my first a week or so ago. In traffic seemed smaller than I suspected it to be.

I see some random cars when cycling through the countryside and some even look to be in good condition. A few I still remember from the weekend.

Dodge Intrepid
Pontiac Grand Prix GTP
Buick Regatta

A friend let know about this old car sitting in the mountains. Not much left. Maybe late 30s or 40s?

There's enough there to be your next daily driver, at least by your standards, right?

Haha. Didn't bring this one home. Frame could have made a decent start for a hot rod special I suppose. I should have a new vehicle next weekend if all the plans go smoothly ... but again not this one.  ;D

Went out on a ride with a Miata last night. As we took the mountain roads nearby, we saw a small tree knocked over in the middle of the road. Huh, didn't think there were strong winds. Then saw a few broken wheels and the wreck.

Looks to be a V6, and we pulled over to check the car. Didn't find anyone in the car and the Miata guy suspected that the Camaro wasn't alone and the other guy(s) with that Camaro carried them to the hospital and left the car there.

Yeah, don't test your limits on public roads... I know that mountain route is a nice drive but that guy obviously went way too crazy.

Holy crap.  So you're saying he pushed too hard and lost control of the vehicle?

Obviously that V6 didn't have the 1LE package, because if it did, it wouldn't have left the road and hit the tree in the first place...

Probably, from the looks of it. We only saw the aftermath, not how it actually happened.

I know that route pretty well now and yeah, I see people going on night cruise there. Some of them go a little too crazy.

Los Angeles car chase, Friday evening.  Camaro hit 140 mph before being disabled by Onstar.
