What I am discovering is a lot of the example exercises that came with the ball hurt by back which is the problem I have with pretty much anything resembling a workout. Even though I don't have back problems.




It's not uncommon for a sore back (depending on where and what is sore) to be the result of a very weak core.  That is to say, the rectus abdominals/oblique's/transverse abs are so weak they cannot properly support the spine and your back suffers from being out of proper alignment.  Weak core muscles can lead to a LOT of back issues.

Light to moderate weight training along with cardio vascular will help maintain bone density and strength.  Stretchins is part of all this.
