16.9L/100kms on the Nissan Armada so far.  :rofl2:

How much worse is that than the GMC?

GMC was a V6 and as I recall was more in the 12-14L/100kms range.

Sounds about right for mixed use. Brother with a heavy foot as his Armada closer to 18-19L/100km

Mixed Use Ridgeline is close to 13L and the LR4 is 15L. On the highway Ridgeline drops to maybe 12L while the LR4 is similar. Price you pay and in the case of the Ridgeline it is very old tech, similar to that Armada..

First tank on the LC 500; 12.4L/100km. Not really babying it, but mostly city, and taking break-in into account. Up to 732km now.

Crosstrek is sitting at 7.9 indicated so far. Almost all puttering around the city. About 3 L better than the RX doing the same thing

One of our friends dropped in with his Rav4 hybrid he's had for the last few years, his overall indicated was 5.3!

Mine is at 10.4 lifetime, 100% urban/short trips except for our New England escapade last fall, during which it got an 8.3. I bet you can go more than 500m out west without stopping in "urban" settings  ;D

Ours is 8.9 lifetime. 8.3 since the spring with no winter tires or roof box. I bet our usage is 90% highway though.

Yukon lifetime is 19.0 or 16.1 if I strip out towing. (Towing avg. is 28.8 )

All hand calculated.

Been doing a fair bit of highway driving with the bike on the back.  Average fuel economy lately has been 7.7L/100km (calculated), which generally includes a bit of city driving throughout the week.  I'd say drag from the bike adds an extra 0.5L/100km.

We did a pretty good highway drive yesterday (about 300kms) and returned 6.7L/100km (indicated).  No bike on the back, as it was a family trip, and I had the cruise set to 100km/h.  Probably the best fuel economy I've seen out of the CX-5 to date.

Recent long weekend round trip to the cabin ~400km netted an impressive (IMHO) 6.0L/100km. Cruise set at 107km/h but adaptive cruise was working overtime with heavy long weekend traffic.

On a calm day, the Corolla gets about 6.0L/100km at 100 km/h.

That Sienna truly is impressive.  A vehicle that can haul 7 people in comfort.

Do you find it has enough power?

At almost 12,000 kms the lifetime average for the Civic is 6.1L/100km, but that's basically two summers and one winter.  For our CR-V it's sitting at a lifetime average of 7.9L/100kms and 16,000kms, but that has a lot more highway miles than my Civic, a few trips to Ottawa and a trip to northern NL brought it down to that level, otherwise it'd be in the low 8's.  Overall, I'm pretty happy with both for fuel economy.

What is funny is the trip computer and how it changes significantly when the low fuel light comes on.  Last weekend I had to mow the lawn at a family property outside of the city.  Total distance is around 75kms, vehicle stated range was 98kms.  I wanted to get this little trip done before fueling up at Costco on the way home.  The gas light comes on around 60kms, the next 30kms fall off at an accelerated rate.  So each km I drove it feel more than 2kms in stated range.  I got to the property with around 45kms of range stated, which is still plenty as it is only about 35kms to get to Costco on the way back.  I passed a sign going back to the city saying 31kms to Fredericton, I think the range stated was 35kms.  Once I hit 30kms of range it reverts back to a more true calculation.  I got to Costco with 15kms of range stated, put 47L in, and the tank is 53L in size, so technically I had closer to 100kms of range left.  Of course this was all done without my wife as she would have freaked out.  I made sure to take my little jerry can of gas for the mower with me, but it only had maybe 2L left in it, but that would have given me 10+kms of extra range.

I have never ran out of gas in my life, and I'd say it's less likely with modern vehicles as they use scare tactics like this to force you into getting gas well in advance.

I would say it has adequate power but delivery is very different than I'm used to. When making passes on 2 lane highways, stomp on it and immediately the engine goes to full revs and holds it there until I let off the throttle. Its doesn't have the same feeling as a typical transmission where it downshifts and then revs steadily climb. It doesn't "feel" as fast but when I'm done passing and look at the speedo, its right where the Acadia would have been speedwise.

I reserve the right to revise this judgment after towing our double enclosed snowmobile trailer this winter. Its light (less than 1800lb) but punches a big hole through the air.

My new Husky  2 stroke got about 50 kms before the low fuel light flashed (aprox 6L). Put another way about half the mileage of the Sienna.  ;D

Sounds like the e-CVT works pretty much like a belt type, the Crosstrek sounds pretty much like that. Works just fine, but it's not quite the same throttle/rev

10.3L/100km with boat in tow for ~200km this past weekend. The "tach" JUST managed to stay in eco on level ground at steady speed but any acceleration or incline had it in the power zone.

Lots of drag from that little boat, I guess.  You doubled your fuel consumption!

~4.0L/100km worse than normal which is about the same FE hit as with the Acadia. The real test will be this winter with our double enclosed snowmobile trailer. Weight is approximately the same as our boat but it punches a HUGE hole through the air.

Drove my 2013 Corolla from Winnipeg to Fargo, Monday afternoon, into a 20 mph headwind.

Fuel consumption:
At 65 mph, 32.0 mpg, 7.35 l/100km
At 75 mph, 26.5 mpg, 8.88 l/100km
A 20.8% increase.

Southbound I29 needs repairs for the first 30 miles from the border, then it's smooth concrete for the next 120 miles.

Time to sum up the old 2016 Pilot's fuel economy:

2019 - 11,770km - 13.76 L/100km - $0.1674 fuel cost per KM
2019 - 17,139km - 14.94 L/100km - $0.1684 fuel cost per KM
2020 - 17,232km - 14.43 L/100km - $0.1329 fuel cost per KM
2021 - 17,799km - 13.43 L/100km - $0.1694 fuel cost per KM
2022 - 11,623km - 13.70 L/100km - $0.2317 fuel cost per KM
2023 - 17,754km - 13.27 L/100km - $0.2154 fuel cost per KM

All told, I spent $16,768.90 on fuel to drive 93,353 KM.  I got better mileage as time went, less city driving and more highway trips.
