Reached a new low with the Jetta: 240km on 46L....

I don't care how fast your accelerating, there is something wrong there.  Did you leave the car on, and have a nap?

Nope 100% city driving with AC on. I've complained to the dealer and they said 'it's normal, because the AC takes a big toll on consumption'.....and next thing: 'but I can guarantee you the brand new Golf will be much more efficient' LOL

How far is your drive? Also double check tire pressures.

Tires are good, I check the pressure every month...drive is about 13km, lots of stop and go traffic and lights.

So far so good with the V60.

I'd say that 7.6 L/100 is really good for the V60.

Made a run from Kitchener to Port Elgin, Owen Sound and Collingwood and back with the Boxter yesterday and got a surprising 6.8L/100.

I didn't buy the car for that reason, but I'm happy with the result.  Speeds were in the 80 to 90 range with the top down most of the time.

A week ago, I made a KW to Windsor at 125 kph average and got 7L/100.

In my more typical mix of driving I am getting about 8.2/100.

Yup. AC on, no particular attempt to keep speeds down, 325hp, AWD, and a relatively old drivetrain combo still netting 7.6 is pretty good in my books.

I need to start entering my consumption at fuelly.com once again.

Made a 731 km road trip to the l'Île d'Orléans last week-end for an EV event, what else?  ;D  Thanks to the DCFC network from Circuit Électrique to made it possible !

Overall, my little Spark EV used 93.1 kWh (partial DCFC & L2 recharges, so the total usage has not been reset for those 731 kM. (I wish I have such big battery )

So my final average consumption : 12.74 kWh / 100 kM.

Gone but not forgotten in chronological order: 2019 Volt, 2013 Volt, 2014 Spark EV, 2012 Volt and many others before...

Getting envious of the Fuel economy in this thread, current demo is an MKX. Not the best when it comes to gas :(

It is great.  But as for the AWD, it's not like its being used.  Its FWD until slip is detected,  just the extra 100lbs or so for the AWD components..

That is brilliant!  Quebec really is starting to roll out fast EV charging in 2015 at a good pace.  I've recently seen a few more fast chargers come online in Ontario, and reports are there will be a similar roll out here in 2016.

As for your efficiency, that is really something!  Your Spark EV is very efficient, and you must be quite good at getting those electrons to cover the most km.

Tesla Model S update.

Travelled 3500 km in the month since we purchased.

Averaging 21 kWh/100 km over that distance.
That is equivalent to more than >110 mpg for those who use gas...

However, due to the supercharging network we used on the three road trips we've taken, Tesla covered 80% of the km we've travelled to date.
So our fuel costs are like getting the equivalent of 500 mpg in a gas car.  We'll take it!

Thank you Sir. I went to Québec city / Île d'Orléans thru the A40 HWY on the north shore, the car did the rest  ;)

It is the beginning of the DCFC network and all those 400Vdc 50 kW chargers are dual standard CHAdeMO & CCS combo.

It starts showing up :D as seen on www.plugshare.com A new DCFC has been put online last week at La Pocatière http://api.plugshare.com/view/location/47532 and today, an announce about Montebello. More to come...

That means nothing to me , how many litres ? How many Kms ?
