9.3L/100km highway without really trying in the RS6 Avant.

It's getting about 14 combined, but I also drive it fairly hard when I'm alone (wife isn't really going anywhere with the 9 day old at home, so I've taken it upon myself to commute in the beast)

He was... But then he got a new RS6 and decided he'd rather have a commute...

I mean, that’s fair.

I took two weeks, but I have had to run into the office for a couple of meetings here and there. Have an ongoing business deal right now that requires *some* in-person attention so it's hard.

Honestly, it's one of those really tough decisions that I'm sure a lot of you have had to face. On one hand you want to be home with the kiddo and help your partner as much as you possibly can. On the other, 1-1.5 years of mat leave makes them essentially full-time caregivers to tend to the kid. My job is pretty demanding and requires me to be having a lot of phone calls/meetings/e-mails, so it's tough to juggle everything right now.

Also, I'm a micro-manager (to a fault), so it's a bit hard to watch things go down without me around. These two weeks were the most time off I've taken away in over a decade.
