Are you staying on the same network at home and on the beach or do you end up roaming at the beach.
Example: Canadian cell phone roaming on France Telecom while on the north France channel coast. Climb up to top of Eretat cliff and suddenly we are roaming onto UK Orange which of course prompts a new time display on the phone. coming back down and phone automatically goes back to France Telecom when UK signal weakens.
Good question. Might be roaming at the beach, but then would go to Washington time, which is the same.
Does it go back to correct time when you are at home?
No, it stays an hour back. To get the correct time, I have to turn it off, and leave it off. When turned back on, usually next day, the correct time is displayed. I wondered if it was some electro-magnetic thing, my neighbour has gone all "wireless", but she did that long before my phone went stupid. My network CSR people forwarded the problem to the guru's higher up. Not heard back from them yet.
How do you tell if the battery needs to be replaced?
