Give this thing a NAME! (What shall we call an electric bicycle)

So here's the deal. I am looking for a good short word to describe an electric bicycle and hoping it will catch up. The ultimate goal here we come up with something cool and it becomes an entry in the dictionary. It would be nice to see Wikipedia giving our forum a credit one day.  ;D

Seriously, ePed sounds nice.  Of course if Apple makes one, it will be called an iPed.  ;D

Reverse the E-Ped and it becomes the Ped-El - Pedel - ....rolls off the tounge quite well. ;D

On the serious note I find somebody driving an Escalade to buy a 2-4 pack of plastic bottled water the dorkiest and jerkiest of all. On the other hand I always yield the way on a walkway to a young mom who cycles with her kids to school. I believe it finally starts to change and people think differently today.

BTW I like the ePed  :)

Seriously, I actually like e-bike just fine.  It's just that the one you showed has to be one of the dorkiest looking  bikes I've ever seen.  I guess that one could be called "dork-e-bike" ;)

If you want a useful bicycle that can be used to run errands with instead of a car, my vote goes to the Surly Big Dummy (http://www.xtracycle.com/product_info.php?cPath=5&products_id=122).

Hows about the "Electri-cycle." You can charge up the pacemaker while you are riding the bike or walkman or whichever portable devices you wish to carry with you.  :) ;D :rofl:
