Just saw on the news mcguinty is getting the legislature back sunday afternoon to work on back-to-work legislation, hopefully we won't have a bunch of pro-union MPP's stand in the way or try a phillibuster.

If the union though people were upset last weekend, wait until the useless employees see what will be coming to them when they are forced back to work.

I have to say, those health benefits are pretty good looking to me. I get $250 for eye care every 2 years, and that includes exams. For orthodontics, we get a max of $1750.

It was a promise by the union.  I guess they couldn't keep it for safety reasons.

Blindsiding transit users = bad move

Using transit users to gain leverage in negotiations = doing your job to get the best deal you can get

Not that it matters much, the blindside obviously backfired since the province is going to legislate them back to work.

Considering I get NO BENEFITS I think they are living large.

Yeah... it took me 45 minutes this morning (2AM) to realize there's no more buses. Had to call the gf to come pick me up.

Bad move on their side. They should've at least have buses until 4AM, so people could get home.
