Outstanding!

I really hope they go far this time around. Very nice that the'll have the home advantage for a while! That's quite a change from recent years...

My local Dollarama only had small Maple Leafs towels.  I guess one could make a loin cloth out them.  Couldn't find any Habs stuff.

I actually find myself enjoying watching the habs play this year, which is really saying something, b/c normally I despise them.  I like watching this team.

As for the sens; can't wait for them to lose in the first round.  I was so happy when alfredson was run over last week by bell.  I can proudly say that I was cheering his injury from the stands of the ACC last thursday - leafs finally got him back for his dirty hit in 2002 against tucker (except bell didn't need to resort to a dirty hit from behind a la alfredson)

Rather watch the Canadians than the Leafs any day.  :) Oilers almost made it.

The CBC boys in T.O. must really have their panties in a knot with the Maple Laffs not on their schedule this spring.
Maybe they'll show reruns of old Maple Leafs wins.

How'd the game go last night?

Still beats a 9:00am Laughs(Leafs) tee-off time, ....again, classy.

See you there in a week!  Going into the season everyone knew the leafs would suck, so it was no surprise, but Ottawa really hit the crapper after everyone thought they'd win the cup, pity.  It's also amazing how the pathetic sens fans can't even sell out an arena for a playoff game, that would never happen in a real hockey city.

Perhaps the Sens fans are smart.  If they keep spending money on a losing team, there would be no incentive for the team to change or improve.

Anyway, Game 1:  Habs 4, Bruins 1.

I dont think that's smart; it's not being a fan.  A fan supports a team whether they are good or bad (in the leafs case, mostly bad).

Nah, if they suck, then they don't deserve their inflated salaries or fan support, imo, Sens or Leafs.
And yes, I agree that the Sens suck right now and most likely won't make it past this round but wishing ill will on them or on a particular player to be physically maimed or hurt is not cool, that's the only reason I defended them.

Deserving a salary is one issue, but supporting a team is another, I support the idea of my hometown team, not the individuals on it.  Believe me, the leafs have not endeared themselves to me the past few seasons, but I would still cheer my butt off if they made the playoffs.

As for Alfredson, I can't stand him, ever since that Tucker hit, so what arou going to do.

Glad the Habs won last night in OT. But not sure they deserved to win though.

The Bruins are going to remember for a long time the last penalty called against them.  That was a questionable call from the referee. Though I'm sure Kovalev isn't going to complain about it. Talk about coming close to be send to the dog house...
