Damn it, they still haven't included side curtains as standard equipment.

Good find AB!

The Tiguan Highline pricing is interesting considering the equipment level in comparison with a CX-7 or RAV-4 per example, though Mazda and Toyota still have a big edge in the HP department.

Too bad the techno package is still so pricey and the Dynaudio system is not available as a stand alone package.  :'(   And $1550 for freight and PDI, Yikes!!!  :P

Hey, no 2.0T for the Jetta?
This doesn't look good.

How many sale are custom, how many off the lot.
If the dealer orders with side curtains what difference would it make

They make Jettas that do not have the TDI in it ???

Not really about sales.
The side air curtain option just makes it troublesome when ordering cars.
Most salespeople rather have it as standard equipment.

The price list doesn't say anything regarding the 2.0T gas models.
I hope they don't plan on dropping it!  :(
That's what VW did in USA.
You want turbo, you'll have to get the GLI.

Regardless of the ordering process, the side air bags should be standard. Especially considering the price range.

It comes down to a poor decision from Sales to try to lower the advertised pricing.

Don't blame me.
I want it to be standard, the Rabbit has it standard.  :-\
For $250, I say throw it in.

I don't! Looks like we are on the same page about this  :)

At least the price for this option is reasonable.

I really like the Tiguan by the way. Looks even better in person than in pictures.

In the US at least, the 2.0T will be standard on the upcoming Wolfsburg model.

Hey, no 2.0T for the Jetta?

Typed last week
I suspected the 2.0T would be discontinued in Canada, which is a shame. For '08MY the price was increased, and I see less and less of them stocked on lots, but do think it's a worthwhile model. Unless people test drive it or know the engine, the hp difference probably doesn't look enough to justify it, although is more reasonably priced than the GLI.

How are you all seeing the document AB posted? I can't view it clearly!

1. Hmm... if the packages are going to be the same as 2008, then no memory seats for 2009 2.5/TDI sedan/wagon (only on 2.0T highline).

That feature doesn't really sell.
You will be able to see all the details on packages if you click on the first post link.

2. TDI = yes, gas = no.

3. TDI = 3-6 months, gas = 2-4 months
If you really want one, put an order now!
But chances are you won't be able to buy from me.  ;)

Too many variations, depends on vehicle type, no. of years, total kms, etc.
Our business manager has a 20 X 20 matrix chart just for extended warranty oo the Jetta.
Check with your local dealer.
