$27,500 US will be ~$33K here.  It HAS to be priced above similarly equipped Accords and Camrys.  (Camries?)  It is the "VW Way..."

That's my guess too. With Passat 2.0T being $23.9K in US and $27.4K in Canada, and the difference between US Passat Sedan and US Passat CC is about 3.5 - 4K. My guess is about $32-33K in Canada.

What does "CC" stand for?

Generally CC stands for "coupe convertible", i.e. folding hardtop.  It seems to make little sense in this application.

Seen it today at the auto show.  Looks good except the back.  Very poorly designed rear end.  Looks like a Sebring.

That is one amazing looking vehicle. If you notice how the VW Jetta is priced similarly to compact cars in the US, but aligns with Accord & Camry in Canada, hopefully they rectify this with the launch of this CC. Since the Camry is down to $23,400, if this car (even if only in base form) started at $27,900 Canadian, it would be a home-run for them. And given their recent sales in Canada, they could do with a few home runs.

As nice as that would be, there is no way they would price the Passat CC on par with the normal Passat. The CC will undoubtedly be better equipped than a base Passat.

Even if the CC was equally equipped as the Passat, VW would still charge a little bit more for it.

Real nice...gorgeous wheels...

It's going to be expensive with the 3.6 and DSG...alas...no manual in that one either. :(

Very nice.  I think sensor holes(?) spoil the look of the front bumper.

Are these Passat CC's out already? I'm positive I passed one tonight on the 407 Westbound. It was being driven very slow. All the tail lamp bulbs worked though. :rofl2:
