You know, that's not a bad looking crossover... Good pics again Cortina.  :)

The Calibre I had as a rental (briefly, as I made them take it back) was  IMO. I hope Chrysler does better with this vehicle.

Let me guess the CVT ruined the car? I should Imagin It would be lovely without the CVT, I really like the combination of distinctive features.

While it's not quite as bad as most of Chysler's recent offerings, the Journey is still too boxy and thick-looking, a characteristic caused by Chysler's puzzling adoption of narrow window/high beltline styling. And please, ditch the 'aggressive' grill! Not everyone wants to drive a wanna-be SUV.

Halifax better looking than the Durango for sure. Rather nice actually but the interior is a design gone bad. Maybe in cloth it won't look so bad if they go the monotone route.

That exterior is pretty good... it is a serious blending of segments, but nice.

The colour contrasting seats are the only thing about the interior I like judging from that photo.

Outside lookes fine, interior is hard to judge from those pictures. Can't judge how big this thing is either, but I'm assuming it must be in the Santa Fe league sizewise.

It's the company's trademark grill though!  One may as well say "and please, BMW, not everyone wants nostrils on their car, ditch the kidney grill."

Agreed. If there is one thing that Chysler products have going for them, it's strong, classical, American design. I don't think they should give that up. Polarizing is not necessarily a bad thing.

So is this the PT Cruiser's replacement for the Dodge brand?

That...isn't bad looking. But its a very crowded segment with many strong products...

No, actually, it isn't. Chrysler used a similar grill many years ago on the 300, which I guess technically meets the definition of 'traditional', but today's in-your-face barn-door grill only goes back as far as the Dodge Ram of the mid '90s. BMW, on the other hand, has been using it's kidney grill from day 1.

Not at all.  It appears to be Chrysler Pacifica-sized and seats seven.
