I'll bet you a tenner that they will win 2 major trophies this year. One being the EPL (and no, I don't consider the Community Shield or Carling Cup major trophies).

You're on.

 :shake:

Sorry Saf - Becks' best years are behind him now. He plays in a league far inferior to Europe or the UK so he might look good on the field. Kind of like taking a washed up major leaguer and having him play Little League.

Hope Sir B and Lady P enjoy their forray into Hollywood - I hear Katie and Tom are 'best buds' with them now.

Bob I respect you but...

United is a long way away from being out of the title chase... They have dominated the first three games of the season and will find their scoring touch... and when they do... YEAH!!!

On the other hand Chelski have looked dreadful, especially against Reading.

Loserpool can't win away from Anfield... Torres is no saviour and Gerrard is a whiner...

ARSEnal are two years away from competing again...

Everton, nope... Will cause the big four some headaches but that's it

Sven can't keep Citeh winning... Out of the race by Xmas...

The Spurs? lol.... Jol is on his way out...

This season the EPL will be won with less than 90 points...

I support Utd, but I bet you $10 they don't win the league this year.

I can tell you I'll be watching - United Chelski - how much better could it get this year?? Not much, imo. I am hoping for a good game.

C'mon you Reds!

Whats the point. Stanley Matthews doesn't play anymore.

@Turbobob,  how do you like the new Citroen C5?

I saw one on the hwy this weekend and was quite impressed with the looks.
It looks like a mix of BMW 3 series and Audi A4.
Very handsome car IMO

Easy -- I can think of a few reasons to watch:
Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Ferdinand, ......

And don't forget the Sir Alex victory jumping jacks  ;)

Back on topic -- I still wish we had Skodas and more diesels here in Canada.

Well designed, badge doesn't carry much sway as they have a poor reputation for build quality.  Hopefully they are starting to pull this back as their last few models have been pretty good.  They are advertising it here as a BMW/VAG competitor.  Big impressive Citreons drop like a stone depreciation-wise here, so in a couple of years it will be very good value.

1-1, COME ON UNITED!!

Rooney was taken off for Nani in the 101st minute.

And Celtic secured the SPL title today!

And the Rangers lost last week in the UEFA Cup final!

Good times for me!
