Geez, like small hatchbacks much?

I'm not Canadian, but if I was, I'd be pretty annoyed that Canada didn't get the GTO and doesn't get the EVO.  But that's just me.

we have a history of missing out on the sporty models. Missed the MR2 Spyder and Mercury Capri (conv) on as well. Of course maybe the Capri wasn't a great loss.

TT,  Arthur and Airb said it all between them with one glaring exception

Alfa Romeo.   any Alfa    even a diesel Alfa ( sprinkles himself with holy water and catches on fire)

ok maybe some really bad  big french cars as well... soggy Renaults and Peugeots as well.

Ditto to everything above - I like the C4, but alas it doesn't come apart a-la that cool Transformer-style commercial that advertised it when it first came out.

How about anything diesel? Lots of low-end torque, good mileage and longer life engines.

I'd also like to see the European Corolla and Verso people-mover. It might even be fun to see a Fiat Multipla on the roads here once in a while. It's gotta be the funkiest/ugliest looking vehicle out there - and it's a Fiat!

Have long engine life is no big deal, I have had a couple of GM with over 300,000 km without any problems, but was tried of the vehicle after 10 years

Here goes some remarks from someone who knows some of these models.

VW Fox: believe me, you don't want this car.
Fiat Stilo: fancy car, weak engine, high price tag (here in brazil)
Peugeots: really good looking cars, expensive maintenance/repairs and insurance costs.

The rest of the list looks ok to me, I would add the Ford C-Max/S-Max. I don't live in Canada but I guess you would like these two.

I agree with you Wolverine, the Ford C-Max and S-Max are definitely great missed opportunities for some potential high sales in our NA market for Ford - What a waste!!

These babies are made right here in Ashland, Oregon.  I've seen two so far out on the roads.  Quite a change from your normal mix of domestic half-tons  ;D

If I recall correctly, some Alfas may come to the States within the next few years (not sure about Canada) and they will be sold through the Maserati dealers. Watch out for the price tag... :o

I'd settle for the Alfas and some quality diesels in sedans/small cars.

Do they still make the 307 CC? Love the look of that car.

A WRC version of the 206 would be awesome.  ;D
