Well those prices actually include the destination charge. So the listed price for the 135i is actually about $500 cheaper than a 328i Coupe in the US. So assuming BMW keeps the relative pricing b/w it's models consistent across the border, that would put the 135i's MSRP in the $42-43k range (same as a 328i Coupe).
That's pretty much the price we were expecting all along, no? Definitely expensive, but considering the 135i comes with lots of goodies (18" wheels, M body kit, N54 obviously), it doesn't seem crrrrazy.
Again, the A3 3.2 is $43k...so what were you expecting it to cost?
Oh, and the comment about options totaling to $50k is BS. They added every option on that list, even though some are included as part of the ZPP and ZSP packages.
I'd take the sport package ($1k US) and be done with it.
