Us Canadians have our very own Honda Civic ... what more do we need?  :)

Doesn't the US Civic get more features and lower freight costs? :)

There's something wrong about that. :)

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

I'm looking forward to the 1 Series, specifically the hatchback model (keeping fingers crossed that it comes to Canada unlike the US)

I like smaller cars (ie. B-Class, A3 and C30) and the 1 Series being RWD, is a definite plus.
Viva el coche!

Seven nearly-undisguised pictures of the new 1-series are at the below link.  I love how it looks.  It's the love-child of a 2002 and an E46 3-series:

http://www.worldcarfans.com/rsslink.cfm/article/6070605.001/bmw/bmw-1-series-coupe-clearest-spy-shots-yet

And a model with different front fascia and twin exhaust has been spied: likely either a 135i or an M1.

I think the design looks wrong, it looks like it's been cobbled together... Not cohesive IMHO.

I like it - well I like BMWs in general, but I would like to have 2 more doors. I fear it will be a bit too heavy though.

A 135i could get my attention or possibly an M1 if such a beast is to exist.  :)
