The old G35 Coupe is definitely better looking than this G37 version.  The G35 has a cleaner line while the G37 seems to have a longer trunk and a taller, more upright front end (must be the result of those pesky pedestrian impact standards).

I like the current model styling better....
2019 Mazda 3 GS-L, 2013 Ram 1500 and an EV that cost 5 times what my Mazda3 costs but is louder with a crappier interior.

Is it possible that they made the new G37 Coupe deliberately "chunky" to keep the 2008 Infiniti GT-R (Skyline) the most streamlined in the family??
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Last I heard the Skyline was going to be under the Nissan name?  Have they updated/uglified the 350Z?  It shares quite a bit with the G35, if they change its look dramatically I might agree with you.  ;)

The last I read, they said since the price they were going to ask for the Skyline was going to be $$$$, they couldn't justify it as a Nissan...so they said it would be an Infiniti......Guess we'll wait and see..

That's more like it.  Those photos make my inner 15-year-old come out, and I nearly typed that this car was "teh hawtness".

Oh my (re updated pics)

Although not my style, I predict this will be very much a success for Infiniti.

Nice looking car, although not as nice as the concept.  Maybe it's the color?

I like it even more….perfect car IMHO. Now if I could get my wife convinced to dump her Impreza wagon and drive the truck on a daily basis I would trade Rut Ro in for this…

I'm not so keen on that rear end, but I think it would look much better in the flesh.  Much better than the previous images we had...

Snowman...  quite the statement!  :D  I keep hoping for an AWD G35/37 with the six speed...  that would be hot.

(And yes, also known as Skyline...  heh)

Four high-resolution official photos, as well as information:

http://www.netcarshow.com/infiniti/2008-g37_coupe/

330 hp, 270 ft-lbs of torque, and they're claiming that fuel economy has improved 2 mpg over the G35 coupe.

Body 36% stiffer than G35 coupe.

Cannot the Nissan dealer get one for you?
The local Nissan dealer will get anycar. I have seen a Honda sold (maybe leased) from a Chevy dealer

Even if they could, I was under the impression that a Nissan dealership would not do warranty work on an Infiniti?  (Same with Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus, VW/Audi).  I wouldn't want to own a new car where there was no nearby dealership that would do warranty work.

Maybe someone with experience in a dealership could chime in here?
