Barrie has been hard at work, stuffing a small block into anything he can get his hands on - witness below:

I had missed this as well, the Lotus that is.  I had sorta wondered about assorted comments about Saf's Lotus.

get to it man.

get the body onto the kitchen table... it will probably go through a front door on its side.  Engine on a stand in the living room, Carbs on the bedside table,  suspension in the bath.

 and get going.

After all it is the 40th birthday of that car and it needs to be on the road!

Hey, Saf, I know a guy who's worked on Lotuses (Loti???) who's good with fiddly bits... although in the wrong province.  But from being a vintage car wife I know bits can and do get sent around the world to be worked on, so...

Thread revival - can anything be shown off?  I was at a buddy's place yesterday, and he commented on what I was driving, also mentioned that he doesn't see very many of my type of car around.  Then it occurs to me - my model was only made from 2002 to 2004, then in 2004.5 the new body style was introduced.
And, I've done some pimping with some more mods to come............

Thanks!  147k and still going strong, needs upper strut mounts all around - was surprised that they used struts for the rear on this model.............Eibach lowering springs are coming, trying to source some nice struts too......
