Yes, but the advertised lease price is the same story everywhere. For most all of them, you have to add freight, PDI, admin, air & gas tax (if applicable), taxes, first and security deposit (unless waived). Similar story to when you see the MSRP, unfortunately.

But if you're looking for something even less expensive from VW, stay tuned for a product announcement in August. We don't yet know what this is, but it won't be called a Rabbit.

Does that mean they are bringing the Lupo or Polo or Fox here???

I hate those hidden cost freight etc you have here. why do you have to have them in the first place.

Yes that is the official rate I priced one out at a dealer yesterday.  There a more than a few extra fees not listed in the Ad.

Freight + PDI
Security Deposit
First Month Payment
Gas Tax
Air Tax
License Registration
Dealer Admin Fee.
Taxes on the above.

It is more like $5000 down $231 a month for the base 5 door.

Yup. That's the norm, $2000 "down" + $3000 "upfront".

You'll be surprised how BMW advertises their vehicles!
$599 on an X5, yeah right, $8000 down +, +, +!
Total due on delievry, $15000!

Went to my dealer yesterday and they received a (good) misbuilt Rabbit. Specs show it should be black interior, but it's actually Pure Beige.

So, it's a base 5dr, manual, Sage Green exterior with black over beige over black interior. $20,990. SUPER SHARP and unique as Pure Beige is not supposed to be available in Canada. At least not in the immediate future.

Allow me this short plug - if interested, contact Paul @ Belleville Volkswagen. I know it won't last, but the 2-tone interior is very upscale in appearance IMO.

Has anyone seen a candy white or united grey rabbit yet.  I'd really like the white on the GTI but not sure how it would look and a rabbit.

I still haven't seen any Rabbits in Vancity dealers. :(

Toronto gets them 1 week ahead of the other cities in Canada.
Van should get theirs by the end of this week.
The offical release of the Rabbit is this Friday the 23rd.

Arrived late last week. They have the Sage Green (which I'm now told is being traded to another dealer b/c of the colour combo), a Tiptronic 3dr silver, and I think 3 5drs silver with various options.

Oh Snap!

What does that even mean?  The non-white grade 6 kids that my wife teaches apparently say that.  I understand it's a positive expression of some sort?  Like "Oh snap! That's phat!" or some such?  As opposed to "Ohhh... that's so dry" which is apparently something you don't want to be.  I'm just not up on all the young'n lingo these days.   ???

___

SAM, the two-tone beige interior does look really good.  Not too sure about the sage green exterior though.

Nai, Nai, Nai.
Apple green was ok, it's the green on the Jetta that looks like a fly's (insect's) eye.
