Holy ancient thread Batman!  I told you the Pursuit was sporty - that trunk mounted battery improves weight distribution!   :rofl2:

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

I had a new Cobalt for 5 days in approx Oct 2008. My STS was in for the moonroof repair and they gave me this car as a loaner. I was very impressed with the handling, fit and finish, and comfort of this car.  The engine had more then enough power to move the car along quite nicely and was excellent on fuel as well. I drove a friend to Hospital that same week in it in Cambridge Ont which is around 60 miles each way. Total gas cost was only $5.00 for the trip which I thought was quite good.  If I had the need for a new car like this I would definitely look at a Cobalt or pontiac G6 as well. They have improved greatly and unless you try one you will never know just how much.  :)

The Cobalt may be a step forward from the Cavalier, but compared to the cars on the market today ... oh, well ... the Cruze cannot arrive fast enough.
