At my grand fathers hobby farm he would use a coffee can filled about 1/3 of the way with old motor oil, and walk the potato field knocking potato bugs into the can, once the fan is as filled with bugs, he would dump it in the “farm dump”.  Just what people did back in the day, heck even I helped him with it when I was a wee lad.

Grandpa would collect all the used oil in 5 gallon pails, then we’d drive slowly down the gravel road spilling it out in a zig zag pattern. “Keeps the dust down” was his figuring.

I like watching his videos and then reading the comments if there is a suspected SNAFU. This time I thought people would complain about the mixing of two brands of gear oil, but there was more... 

Goes to show that any DIY attempt needs a thorough research.

I upgraded the wheels/tires on my old regular cab short box Chevy and have the factory 16” up for sale. I get this reply;

“Hey, need some wheels for my truck. I can trade a few cartons of smokes and a few oz of weed. Have no cash till the 20 and even then I’ll be tight for cash. Help out a single mom please”

Honestly feel like just giving them to her lol. I was asking $400 but would take way less. But I’m irritated that a struggling single mom has $$ for smokes and dope but nothing else.
