143.9 in parts of Metro Vancouver.

 :fall:

BC cut income taxes like crazy, and seems to be trying to make it all up with gasoline taxes.

You hit it right on the nose. Not sure how the rest of the country, but here, especially in the lower mainland there is time of day pricing at the pumps. Morning rush/ evening rush, price goes up, mid morning, mid afternoon, price drops.

This is happening here too.  For about the last year, one Esso station every morning puts their price up about 10 cents a litre, then in afternoon drop it back down.
Others are starting to play that game now.

Looks like prices in Ottawa have jumped to the $1.18/L.

Diesel holding strong at $1.10.  I've noticed that Diesel prices are much more stable than gas prices.

99¢ at Costco, but most places are at $1.02 for regular in Regina.

Regina Taxi and Regina Messenger both have pumps with discount gas. They're at 94¢, but I haven't the patience to sit in line to save a couple of bucks.

Carbon tax in BC on gas is 6.67 cents per liter.  That doesn't account for the price difference to other places in Canada.  But, of course, you heard it was $2.00/L, right?   ::)

I see that the Superstore gas bar on Sargent was converted to a Mobil recently and you still collect PC points equivalent to 9 cents per liter.  And now top tier gas to boot! Can't wait until the Superstore gas bar closer to home is also converted to a Mobil.

I'm waiting for the station on Bison to convert.

Eventually, they all will be Mobil.  If they keep the PC Points as noted, then it might go very well for them.  That points program is one of the most lucrative in the gas market for the consumer.  Our local Superstore gas bar is very busy.

Apparently they're keeping the program.

I've been bypassing them when buying diesel but may start using them if I can figure out whose supplying them.

.87/l on the US side. But I think they must've switched to winter gas.  Over 50 km less on this tank than normal.  11.96l/100  :o :P And I was driving mostly like Miss Daisy's driver.

Fixed.  :)
