 Gee what is the point in buying a German car? They always seem to have issues.

Perception. Just like we know the American made M1A1 Abrams is a kick ass tank. But given the choice, we'd rather a German built Lepard.  ::)

yeah the chassis that the Z3 uses dates back to the e90 with some kinda semi-trailing arm design. Not very good for handling purposes. The reinforced M Coupe is better for handling.

Z3 dating back to the e90?  You mean the newest 3 series?

I think he meant the e30.  It has that funky trailing arm design if I'm recalling correctly.

Now THAT's a sexy car.  I'd take it exactly as it is except for that chin spoiler.  Beautiful machine.

I  think the Z4  looks mighty sexy, curves and all.  ;) Would love to have one.

The Z3 has the E36 chassis, but has the rear suspension design from the E30 for packaging reasons. When the car is over 160Km/h and turning hard, you can feel the rear end is getting nervous and twitching, but that doesn't mean it can't go fast.

Agreed, Initial D.  The sounds from the I-6's with the top down are glorious too -- even on the old Z3 2.8.  Classic styling that still looks every bit as sexy today as it did when it was introduced.

Saffy, just 'cuz my car sounds like an angry hornet's nest, doesn't mean I don't still love it.  :)

Now buzz off.
