Jeff - just noticing that you went to the shop I use! Superior Window Films at Auto Edge, South Service Road in Oakville?
That's the one. They were great -- had it recommended to me by my brother. Such service is rare these days -- the owners seem to not only enjoy what they're doing, but enjoy having customers too. $299+tax.
Tints on a short term lease are a cash waste, for sure, but I like the appearance so much more and I like the relative privacy too.
Railton, the wheels are the stock wheels. Tires are Hankook iPikes picked up from the local TireCraft store. I priced them out online from the States and by the time I factored in the shipping, my time, potential for duty, install, plus the exchange rate, etc., it was a virtual wash for cost. The local guy has good prices, but he's as friendly as a bag of cobras.
No Weather Tech mats, no. It's a lease, if it has a few salt stains when it goes back, I won't care.
Rrocket, don't start with the AP please! My brother has had great success with his. Plus, if as you say, it smooths out the power delivery AND improves efficiency? Hooo boy... that'll be tough to pass up. I'd love to be able to cure the rev-hanging between shifts.
No... no... must not spend. Takes away money from the toy fund!
