Congrats Jeff.   Good choice that fits your family.

I suppose you could try to "grow" into fitting those North American seats.  ;D

Last time I saw him, he had put on some weight, so it won't be long..... :rofl2:

Congrats on the new 6,  I think they're great looking cars but I sure don't see many of them.  I wonder if Mazda's plan to make the 6 more mainstream is working.  I feel like the previous generation was more popular.  GD,  if Mazda had made the new 6 the same size as the old one would it have still been in the running?

I'm also surprised at how few I see, given the good looks and good dynamic performance.

Gongrats Mr. & Mrs. GD!
I lived with a Auto equipped Mazda 6 down South a year or two back. Nice vehicle.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

Re: HeliDriver and Tortoise's questions...

1) If the wagon had been available, definitely would've gone that route.  I'm sure there will be occasions when we'll miss having that hatchback versatility for bulkier items.

2) If the current 6 was the same size as the previous 6 and still had the wagon format available, I'm sure we would've felt it was large enough.  The rear seat spaciousness is certainly overkill for our little guy!

It's not my fault!  I'm nowhere near it-- remember, it's not my car, it's my wife's!

Not to be outdone by my brother's new Subie acquisition, I decided to do some shopping too and picked up a CPO 335i.  Afterall, 2 turbos are better than 1.  Black on black.  6spd manual.  Sport pkg.   ;D  And the requisite lazy man's crappy pics in the garage with poor lighting...
