What is that thing ... a compact minivan wagon crossover thing!  Call the government and close the borders before it crosses the pond.  :o

Hopefully our pornography laws will prevent that from happening.  ;D  Oh, who am I kidding they have let much worse cars in before like the old Pacers and Valiants of yore and some of the more recent Korean cars badged as Ford and GM.

Taste - who has taste - certainly not the good taste police and Malcolm Bricklen strikes again - where's that Chery?

Check out the Honda Jazz at the same British website:

http://www.whatcar.co.uk/RoadTest_quickSearchResult.asp?cboQSMake=14&cboQSModel=23657&hidBodies=5&hidSearchType=quicksearch&hidQSNewUsed=1

Why don't they try that in North America?

The Brits seem to call a few models MPV, including the PT Cruiser.
05 Pontiac Vibe, 02 Acura 1.7EL (both passed on to kids), 03 CRV, '12 Civic (wife's)

It's coming in the spring as either the Jazz or the Fit.

That thing began life as the Daewoo Rezzo.  The Korean brand's answer to the Renault Scenic, Citroen Picasso, Ford Focus C-Max, and VW Touran.
I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...

That's why I'm only a learner's permit poster. I hope they call it Jazz - the other name is terrible.

So is it an answer to the Matrix/Vibe? Is that what class it's in? And what about pricing, do we know yet?

It's direct competion will be the Yaris, not the Corolla or Matrix/Vibe.
