Topic: tires for a toyota echo HB

Well the winter weather is about to approach and I want to make sure I get the appropriate tires for my 2005 echo HB.
I went to my tire dealer and they are recommending uniroyal tiger paw ice and snow. My  tire size is 175/65 14".
What does the non partisan, people of this forum think?
What would you recommend?

We got a set of Kumho KW11 for only $300 a set for our Echo HB from Morty.  Can't complain -they are decent winter tires, not the best, but pretty decent on both ice and snow (well, better on snow than on ice).
