I believe Si would be really *that* good to forget about the instrumentation and styling issues with him. :)

Once again, Honda made a car and didn't think about anyone but the driver.
I can sit in the back seat of a Corolla but not in the back seat of a new Civic.
Not a big deal if you are alone, but don't take anyone taller than 5' 7" and try to put them in the back.  Once bump and you will be hearing screams

I noticed that too...

I got in a new Civic, adjusted the driver seat the way I like, then tried to sit in the back.... Ouch.

I don't know why they put that plastic :censor: on the seatbacks... it makes them VERY uncomfortable if they touch your legs. At least the back seats in the Corolla are soft so your leg sinks softly in them if the back is cramped, in the Civic your knees are jammed against hard plastic.

Perhaps it is to protect the driver from getting kneed in the back while trying to control the car.  :P ;D

Wandered down to the lot today and took a look at the cars.

WOW!  The sedan looks awesome - way better than the photos.  I was a little disapointed with the rear end of the cars, though.  But the rest is pretty cool, for sure.

Has anyone seen the 4 door EX in the Fiji blue?  How about the red?  Look good??
Mostly interested in these colors, but only dark blue, black and silver 4 door cars seem to be around here...

I hear the red might have delayed production in some models?

I haven't seen any on the road yet.  But then, we're a much smaller population here.

I've seen two on the road so far.  One in Victoria and one in Duncan.

I think I've seen 3 already. 2 sightings in Richmond, 1 in Vancouver.

None here so far, but then I don't think they let Hondas over the Hump without special permission.  ;D They are relatively rare birds here in Port (as the natives call it)!

They won't let any new Civics out before you take delivery of Yaris. :)

I've seen a couple new civics in Ottawa ... no plates on them though  ???

A guy I know likes them so much he wants to trade is 2004 Civic (he got it with the 199$/month special) for a new one.  He think he's gonna get the dealer to give him a new civic to finish his lease.  I asked him .. how are you going to do that exactly?  He answered: I'm gonna tell him that if he doesn't trade my 2004 for a new one ... I won't do business with this dealsership again.  lol

Yeah ... I'm sure a Honda dealsership is going to be real sad to lose a basic lease and that they can't sell their new civics.

At $199/mo he should be pretty happy.  No reason to rock the boat.  That's a very good rate for that vehicle.  The new Civic is leasing for $304/mo before tax, more than 50% more than what he's paying.

I don't think you want that thing ... it has numerous large scratches and chips ... was never washed and it's at 50 000 km after a year and half.  If the lease is 20 000km a year ... I want to see his face when the dealerships tells him: You owe us a lot of money! hehehe

Yup truly a master negotiator. Threatens the dealer with losing hundreds unless they lose thousands. What a maroon.
