Agreed Traum, but based on that photo Honda's kits are looking better integrated and less like tacked body colour extensions on existing components.

Yeah, that new Civic HFP package looks significantly better than the one on the EP Civic SiR. The one on the EP Civic SiR is a complete afterthought.

I 3rd that. Even Acura's A-Spec kits on EL, TSX and TL looked tacky and add-on.

HSG (or anyone that knows):

Will tinted glass be an option? I know a lot of SUV come with glass tint. I'm not talking about the film you stick/iron on.

Do you know if this is an option?

It is not a "factory option" on any Honda model. Hondas either come with factory tint or it is a dealer add on (the film type as opposed to the actual tinted glass). You can't order a Honda a la carte, they all come the exact same way from the factory.

Most SUVs/vans come with factory tinted windows on rear side and back glass, not on the front 2 windows (or the windshield of course). Most cars do NOT come equipped this way.

strange... I would prefer it the other way around. With so many SUV's and trucks on the road, us lowly car driver always have headlights blasting the back of our necks. Could use the tint where as SUV's have a hard enough time seeing out back and around to not lose visibility due to tint.

It's illegal in with cars to have dark tint.

That's why some manufacturers like Subaru classify their Outback and Forester as a truck - Subaru doesn't need to raise their CAFEconomy, but does so to be able to tint the rear windows.

In the case of the HHR and PT Cruiser, it has the dual benefit.

Unless a vehicle has flat folding rear seats and can be classified as a truck, it cannot have dark privacy tinted glass in the rear windows from the factory. At least in the US.

A friend of mine bought a new Honda Cl the other day and its a 2005 model car with all the trimmings. It has the nice sport wheels and very dark windows with air and auto trannie. A sports type of model persay. She bought the 2005 as she said that none of the dealers in London have any of the brochures or vehicles in yet for the 2006's.  She wanted a 2006 but none were available but got a nice car anyways. Strange that London dosen't have of the new ones yet.  :)

No CI model exists, it may have been an SE model.

2006s have been in but are likely in and out in a matter of a couple days as they are popular. No excuse for not having literature other than the fact that Honda Canada often underestimates the amount of promotional literature that their dealers need.

Thanks for the info.

One more question:

Regarding HFP parts, and side/rear/front skirts. If I order my Civic and want to add on some accessories, do I get to keep the stock parts? For example, if I want my Civic with the HFP wheels... will they give me the stock wheels to keep as well?
