well now we know that the accent has EBD, ABS and SAB. All for 1000 more! And what the accent comes with two tone tinted windows!??! hm but i wanted a hatchback =\

then again the accent is fully loaded... and it IS on a technical level the same car

The '06 Accent 3 door is out.  It is unchanged from 00-05

the '07 redesign with hit the floor in April IMO.

According to the CdnDriver review of the new 4-door Accent, they said the hatchback is coming in Q1 2006 - So some time b/w January and April?

Sounds good to me... If only it had cruise!  Neil, do you see anythnig in your systems about dealer-installed cruise for the new 2006 4-door?

I don't expect a factory or dealer installed cruise system anytime soon.  We have an aftermarket supplier install cruise for about 1/4 of our Accent customers, MOST don't GAF whether an economy car has cruise or not.  Others step up a couple K for the Elantra.

which car do you think would be quieter? the rio5/accent or a honda civic EL 1.7 from 03. Both are around the same price and someone said the rio5 was QUIETER than a EL1.7... can anyone else confirm this?

I own an EL and have testdriven the Rio5.  Hands down, the Rio5 is quieter....  Acura adds no more sounds dampening to the EL then the Civic, which is very noisey at highway speeds (both wind and road noise).

The Rio5 was very, very impressive on my highway test.  It had less road noise, a lot let wind noise and it tracked straighter in the wind... If anyone knows about southern Albertan winds, then they'll know we like cars that are stable on the highway.

Get the rio5, IMO... 5 year bumper to bumper warranty
