Ever wonder what happens to the new cars left unsold on the dealer lots?  I mean where do they end up?  Sold at autions or chopped up for parts perhaps...

I wonder where you can find a brand new 'old' car

I think usually if they priced it right, no car will ever go unsold.  Simply if a dealer is willing to eat up the depreciation, the car will never go unsold.  For example, my sister purchase a brand new MY 2003 C320 Wagon in 2004 for esentially the black book trading price for a used 2003 C320 wagon with 1000km on it.

Hi Meld, welcome, Take it from a aging dealership veteran, (now thankfully out of the grind), NO new car goes unsold at a dealership and NO the manufacturer doesn't take them back either.  They don't even get to wholesale auction but are retailed to customers.
