Nice! Love the side by side with that giant Focus too. The early '70s - simpler times...

It seems there are other car people at work, despite the anti-car rethorics of our employer

My wife sent me a pic of a Toyota Corona she saw today. Probably the first one I've seen since I lived in California in 1992.

Cars were soooo tiny back then!

Some were, others were huge.

Yes!

There's a 70s Lincoln rolling around here and it's HUGE!

I posted the pic on a local FB group. Turns out it was for sale a while back for under $3k. Automatic but the new owner did a 22R manual swap.

Drove up to a bulbous SUV yesterday on my way back from work. Could not tell what it was from a distance... Internal vehicle shapes database was puzzled. Maybe a Vinfast? No, not Chinese-knockoff enough. Got closer. Mmm, this thing looks good - could it be? Here?

Yup, Fisker Ocean. In name-appropriate blue. Matte blue too.

I think the Ocean looks really good. There is one in town here that I've seen a couple of times.

I noticed the same thing in Italy. In Canada if you want a Corolla Wagon you have to buy a RAV4.

Have you seen the Yaris Cross (or whatever they call it) that looks like a mini RAV4? Thought it looked great.

Saw tons too in Italy and England - better-looking than the sedan and hatch (and never saw a sedan in Europe, of course). The 2nd-gen C-HR looks pretty good too, and tons of 1st-gens around, most of them hybrids - and that rally-car wannabe was a flop here for some reason.

Nope, trunk is smaller in the CC, need to get a RAV4  to get a similar sized trunk as a Corolla Wagon.  8)

One of my friends bought the CC so we are going to meet up and do my coolers test. I'll take pictures.

Yes a wagon, not a cross.  I took a picture.  The silver one is a Corolla Wagon hhybrid, the dark one is also a toyota hybrid wagon hut not a Corolla, it's slightly different, maybe a luxury model. I think the dash didn't look exactly the same.

Saw a Pontiac Solstice Coupe recently on the TCH in Nova Scotia.  Pretty rare sighting considering how few of them were ever built.  The colour (a deep purple) didn't match any I've seen listed on Wikipedia, so I'm assuming it's either a wrap or a new paint job.  Still a sharp looking car!
