That first car/thing looks awful.

The Ioniq6 is pretty slick in person.

I just don't get why someone would pick it over the much more useful Ioniq5.

For the same reason people still buy Jettas instead of Tiguans  ;)

A Jetta costs less than $30k for a well-spec'ed one.  What's the Tiguan start at?  The Ioniq5 and 6 are pretty close in price.

How about Accord vs CR-V then? Point is, some people prefer sedans.

Again, not close enough. The Accord feels like the (large!) mid-sized sedan it is. The CRV does not.   The drive experience between the Ioniq5 and 6 is so similar, it seems silly to miss out on more space. I guess choosing very, very odd styling over just odd styling would be the justification for some.

I saw an absolutely mint 2nd Generation Mercury Sable this afternoon.

It must have lived most of its life somewhere else.

I absolutely lose my mind when I see amazingly preserved survivor versions of normal everyday traffic from 30 years ago. It just transports me back to my childhood. Taurus, Sable, Tempo, Topaz, Lumina, Corsica, etc. are all perfect examples of this. I saw a minty white Cutlass Ciera the other day with the little badge with many country flags on it. Never did figure out what that was all about...

I remember seeing those emblems too. This is what I found:

This emblem was used on several Oldsmobile models from the mid-1970s until the early 1990s as part of their "International" theme, which sought to compare Oldsmobile to global and domestic competitors.

I saw basically this in perfect condition the other day.

That car was a Crosstrek before there was a Crosstrek. Highly regarded at the time.

I have serious want for a wood sided K-car! Would match my woody Plymouth Voyager.

Had a 85 Tercel (non 4WD) wagon way back. Bought it off a lady at work, she was the original owner and the car was pretty near mint. 19 yr old me really didn’t car for it, was slow as a snail, ugly, and I’ve never owned a vehicle that was as sensitive to crosswinds. Sold it easily to the first person to look, he couldn’t believe how rust free the body was.

It’s been roaming around locally for two weeks now. I sooo want to spot the darn thing myself, skunked again. Someone caught it outside a grocery mart today. It’s funny to read all the “love” people have for it on Facebook. For non car people they seriously think is a space rover lol.  :rofl2:

Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

Nah, I was thinking more about picking up a yard or two of mulch or topsoil at the garden centre or moving a bedroom set......you know, truck stuff.
