Just met a GMC motorhome in the wild.   We met it heading north on a county road about 10 minutes from our cottage as we were coming into town this morning.
Didn't realize it was a GMC until we were up close, it was towing a matching enclosed trailer.
Is there a special wave?
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

If I'd noticed what it was sooner I would have waved, then they'd wonder why these folks in a Subaru are waving

This hunk of metal flew into my lane and all I could do is hope for the best. Luckily my ground clearance was sufficient not to "catch" it.  :o

Half a km down the road there was this guy with a flat passenger side tire, he must have run over it...

My Corolla needs one that reads "I identify as a Supra".

Commuted to work for two days this week. On Monday, I saw not one, but TWO final generation Nissan Quests. Odd, as it's been months, if not years since I last saw one of these unicorns. The product was very JDM-like, and the CVT / fixed seating combo did not do well with buyers. We looked at it when van shopping in 2012 but wife did not even bother with a test drive because of the seats. No well in the back, so flat load floor when in cargo mode, but less room when all seats are up. Ironically, this setup would have been easier on our backs, if less practical.

Every time I see one of those – which is not often – my reaction is "oh right, those exist".

Kicks, Rogue doing well, although I have a feeling the variable-displacement 3-pot turbo is scaring buyers away from the Rogue - I don't see that many of them; the Outlander cousin outsells it easily. Kicks are all over the place. In Quebec, the Sentra is doing well - it's probably their best product, really. New Pathfinder appears to be doing good, too. Ariya deliveries starting. Leaf not doing as well as the 1st-gen car. Altima, Maxima and Z = crickets.

Thinking the people that used to buy Nissan (and Chrysler, for that matter) have mostly moved over to Hyundai/Kia and even VW

So as Arctic would say Nissan is the purveyor of wiener cars and a so so SUV?

Nissans made in Japan models are well built.  The Titan V8 engine sold in the States is so superior IMO to the D3's base V8s.  The Frontier is a solid basic mid sized truck with a proven  V6 motor.   On the whole their offerings are not as bad as much of the stuff coming out of the D3.

Nissan has some good ICE products out on the roads.  But apparently they have their sights set on EVs.  Seems rather very up hill to me.

The Ford dealer three doors down from me is driving a Bronco Raptor these days. Red with stickers. The thing is just goofy looking, more so here in the 'burbs.

I think the regular Sasquatch looks a lot better. The local dealer has an orange one on the lot.

I saw one too last night, in navy blue, but it had to be a super base model. Looked extremely "normy" and bland to me.
