In Edmonton, for work. Lots of older American iron here. Saw a nice gen-1 Cougar for sale, and a late '60s Chevy truck in the same area. Very different vehicle pool here! Saw really nice staffers at the Sherlock's for lunch and at the Bianco tonight, but that's another story  ;D

Yes Edmonton is a hotbed of old stuff. Lots of sweatpants and dress shoes too.

Oh and walking along the riverfront park, I found a car hidden in the trees below the convention center. No traces of braking. Climbed down, did not see anyone inside. Odd. Called 911, they paged me to the police and sure enough it had not been reported yet. Waited for them to show up and gave them my observations. So if anyone in Edmonton is looking for their orange metallic Pontiac G5 sedan, I found it.

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

The prices and selection for old cars are by far the best in Edmonton :(

Since moving to the okanagan I’ve found a generous supply of old cars in really good shape. Prices seem all over the place, but I still get some great deals. The level of clean is well above anything I’m used to in Alberta, way less rust. I recently bought a 1990 Cadillac out of an estate that lives it’s life in penticton. Thing is like new underneath still.

Truly.

Is that a white roof or a sticker they forgot to peel off?
I love it when a plan comes together.

It looked like satin brushed metal in person, but I didn't get a long look.

Nice

It was that. Pretty spoiled by fancy metal in Oakville, but this thing had real presence.

This morning I passed  Volvo C30 hauling a Airstream Bambi trailer.  Thought that was an odd combo.   :-\

and illegal if you consider the C30 tow limits.
