I approach a 4-way stop sign in my 'hood, one lane per direction, three other cars approaching from each direction all at the same time. All three cars were Tesla Model 3's. I think it outsells the Corolla here.

Were they on autopilot and all 3 ran the stop sign? LOL [emoji38]

That would have been hilarious! I don't think that feature is very popular here. If Tesla owners in QC can't trust the paint to stay on their cars, would they trust the car in such a role?

I'm out in San Francisco and drove my sister's '22 Model S around a bit, complete with the stupid yoke.

You know, if it wasn't a total sham of a business model/company, the car is extremely neat from a tech perspective.

Stupid things include requiring to go into the touchscreen infotainment to select Park/Reverse/Drive, adjust the steering wheel tilt/telescope, side mirrors, etc. The turn signals, horn and wipers are also little touch-haptic buttons on the steering wheel. I guess you could get used to it if it were your only car, but muscle memory is a thing of the past with this thing.

Also, it's stupid levels of fast, but we knew this already.

Since Tesla has no such thing as a press fleet anymore, I actually shot photos and will be writing a full review in the coming week or two.

Passed an original (?) Toyota pickup on Hwy 11 up near Huntsville. Think the Rolla was bigger than it was.

On a not so interesting thing. had a transport truck hugging my bumper while going 120 in a 90.  Stupid :censor:.

Saw this in the Canadian Tire parking lot. It was mint. And a manual.

As usual with Kia, I spotted a customer 2023 Sportage before reviews for the new model even hit our screens. Odd-looking, narrow and long.

More of interest, an EQS appeared in my 'hood, dark blue - very classy.

Yeah I saw one on the road last month, too.

Well, I guess the days of Kia's being the more handsome alternative to their Hyundai brethren are over, I think.

Mind you, the Sportage was always the most goofy looking out of Kia's entire lineup, but this is just horrendous.  So much going on with that front end.

This was the best looking one:

Hard to believe the 2023 Sportage came from the same design studio that produced this:

It's like we're living in some horrible dream where all small CUVs/SUVs have to look as ridiculous as possible, and one day we're going to wake up and they'll all look like this again:

I always thought those Blazers looked nice. I'd have to loved to have had a two door stick with the Vortec 4.3.

They were so bad. Nice clean exterior design though.

Yeah, to be clear I am not saying that the Blazer was a *better* vehicle, technology has definitely helped make vehicles *better* for the average consumer over the last 30 years. I am just saying that the simple, boxy, clean lines that were popular in that era were waaay more visually appealing than the monstrosities we have on the road today in the same/similar segment.

Yes, agree on the design. Would be nice to have a modern interpretation of it. I noticed some kid in the neighborhood picked up a 2 door to putter around in...looks good, nice and clean, but I'd hate to get into any sort of accident in one of those. It really is a classic nowadays.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Yeah, no different than any of the 80's/90's SUVs, a clean one is pretty desirable in the right circles.

My Dad had a Blazer (88-89 maybe?)  after the Caprice Classic wagons went to that weird blob shape. That was his first SUV.
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.
