^^ get this and brag about owning a Guigario-styled car. Oddly, the local Hyundai dealer where we had my daughter's Accent's PPI had a silver one in similar condition, also as an indoor display.

Hmmm maybe it's a marketing thing. That's a very well preserved Stellar in the background as well.

It would be an interesting approach - I always thought Hyundai was trying to get people to stop thinking of the Pony whenever the brand is mentioned.

I think its a marketing campaign for sure. The concept vehicle for the IONIQ 5 was based on the original pony according to Hyundai. As for the Stellar, I wonder if there is connection between the IONIQ 6?

They were certainly working hard to distance themselves from the Pony/Stellar image back in the 90's but maybe today's attitude is a case of "time heals all wounds"?  ;D

Not that it's really noteworthy but I passed a Nissan Qashqai that had a sticker/decal on the back stating that she was driving a manual.  I then thought to myself that I didn't think that vehicle came in manual, and indeed it doesn't for 2022, but maybe it's a couple of years old and maybe then the base model came with one.  Just a strange vehicle to see such a sticker.

I find the whole idea of plastering your car with stickers to be strange, regardless of the message.
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

I think the base models did offer a manual for a bit.

Yeah generally speaking I agree.  My wife has a couple of Boxer stickers on her vehicle.  She is a proud dog mama, but I think it also helps her find her vehicle in a crowded parking lot, seeing as it's a very common vehicle.

I think its generally agreed on that Dacia is the worth quality car imported during that time period.

Only the best ones were exported.
They also added magnets on the rear bumper - to pick up any parts that fall off while driving.

Spotted an hour ago.  Skip the Dishes driver delivering lunch for me and my wife.  In a BMW 5 Series.  Interesting times.

There are a couple of new-ish 4Runners doing Skip in Moncton.  A ton of late model German cars too.  Not sure how the math works on that, but you do you.

Likely people who are working part time, although I'd want to be using something at least relatively fuel efficient.

First Ioniq 5 yesterday, with green Ontario plates. It was salted all over but other than that I guess I expected it to look bigger in person. Like they say it has a longer wheel base than a Palisade and yet Palisade has road presence about it. I will have to see it clean and shiny before coming to a final impression...

How did it look? I think they look quite nice in pictures but I haven't seen on IRL yet.

Saw this runner of a diesel Benz on my way home.  Was able to snap a picture at a red light.  The next set of lights it came within inches of being hit by a stupid driver.  Must be at least from the 80’s or older.  From the picture I think it says 3000 and on the other site turbodiesel.

300D. It's a W123, which was replaced by the W124 300E in 1986.

Yeah I think he's local as I've seen it around town a couple of times before but never able to snap a pic.
