I don't think it was ever sold in the US.W12? They weren't even sold here. We got the V6 and V8 gas models, and the V10 TDI.

I actually had a Touareg V10 TDI for a couple of years. Absolutely loved the thing.
Been dealing with the fallout from the power outage caused by this crane tumbling off the bridge and into the drink below. That was one lucky crane operator!!! Lucky that he didn't die either from drowning or electrocution. The boom of the crane is essentially held up by high tension power lines and communications cable. All cables still intact. Incredible really! https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/worksafenb-crane-coles-island-1.6361312

Saw one of these: Saab 9-5 Aero Wagon. I didn't have time to get a pic.
IMHO SAAB's were only really great pre-1994, before GM had a hand in them. C'mon, someone go and buy this!https://www.autotrader.ca/a/saab/900/montr%C3%A9al/quebec/19_12163407

I almost bought one too, an 06 Aero with a manual. Ex-wife refused to learn stick, so went with an auto 9-3 2.0T instead. Still regret giving in on that one...was a quick car once in boost, and very comfy.
