That's neat. I personally despise the pre-facelift LS 430 / Celsior (2001-2003), but that's definitely something cool.

What I don't get is the guys who get "JDM" versions of cars we can just get here. Why would I bother spending extra money on a Celsior or Aristo when I can get an LS430 or GS here? Insuring RHD cars can be a PITA, and then there are the inconveniences of RHD like drive-thrus, etc.
Because you could get the Aristo with 2JZ-GTE power...enough said!

There are some option differences in the Celsior. But nothing too huge. The front passenger seat pass through for the rear passenger probably the biggest difference...apart from lack of leather if desired.

The main reason being typically lower mileage and typically in much better mechanical condition due to the very strict Japanese "Shaken" bi-yearly inspection.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

A month ago, a guy bought a truss hanger off me.  He showed up in a fifteen year old JDM, RHD, FWD CR-V with a manual.
Now THOSE I can understand.

Postal vehicles, and they are very, very popular especially for rural carriers. RHD has its benefits for them.

There's one here in Canada Post livery which is weird because I thought all the rural carriers were contracted.

Yes and that counts as a "car you can't get here", so I respect it and support people's decisions to bring them in. Just saying, Celsiors aren't any more special than LS 430s...

Odd that you called out Aristos then....

Just brought in a Ason Martin V8 Vantage black on black. Manual. Looks like it sailed off into a field and was left there for 6 months. Trashed. So so sad. I will not post pics it is so sad.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

ask Dent (?) who got a RHD 350z IIRC. Insuring RHD vehicles that are imported is easy with Hagerty I found - they are set up for that kind of thing. I am sure I am not telling you anything new here...

I also do not get it. If you are going to import something, make it some unobtanium.

My Fairlady Z was half the price of an equivalent 350Z. The condition of it was amazing. That said looking back I imported the wrong car. I really wanted a Cappuccino.

I'm just glad he said it's black on black... I had the Vantage out with Mrs. Hire for a patio dinner last night. It's now done about 700 kilometres this season. More than I suspected considering I've been giving the 964 and M5 way more drive time.

Anyone have any idea what this could be?

I wanna say a Viper with completely changed body panels.  But why would anyone do that when a Viper is already distinctive and rare.

RX-7 with the Veilside kit?

Quick google search for RX-7 with veilside kit, and yeah, that's what it appears to be.

TBH at first I thought it was a wrap and then saw two old ladies in it so had to look it up.The colour is more striking in real life than the picture shows but I won't lie, I did vomit a little n my mouth after seeing it.

First time I saw this colour on the C8.

There’s a high end sports car tour group that goes by me regularly, last year they had a red C8 that I thought looked awful with the other cars, but last week I saw they had one exactly like your pic and it had the roof down and definitely held its own.  Without doubt the best looking one I’ve seen, although I thought the colour was even brighter looking in person.  Don’t think I’d get it myself, but it did look amazing!
