^^ Yeah, but generally the hard bits (like control arms) stay the same. Easy to just replace coil springs with air bags and leave the rest alone.
I have to take ours in for an oil change soon. They’ve got one (Yukon, I think) at the dealer, so maybe I’ll crawl under and take a closer look.
Okay, had to go out for groceries anyway, so stopped at GM dealer on the way.

It was a Yukon AT4, so the “off road” model. This one does have the air suspension, but it appears it’s an option.
Too dark to get the overall view, but it’s where the arm dips down near the tire that struck me as being very low. But I guess you get more clearance in the middle without the pumpkin, so there’s that.
It sure looks to me like the air bag unit would just swap right out with a coil over shock in the other trims.
