Wow. Did they end up in the pool?

Quote
The driver of a vehicle that ploughed through a fence facing Bayridge Drive and ended up in a Crest Hill Street pool early on Monday morning has been charged with careless and distracted driving.

The driver was northbound on Bayridge Drive shortly before 4 a.m. on October 14 when he left the roadway, drove through a fence on the east side of the road and crashed into the pool at 943 Crest Hill Street. There was significant damage to the fence, pool and vehicle.

The driver sustained no injuries and Kingston Police say there was no evidence he was drunk at the time of the dunk. The driver was, however, charged with both Careless Driving as well as Operating a Handheld Communications Device.

Every year this guy turns his firewood pile into a work of art.  This year it's a fishing boat.

Love the spirit of it. Nice work too.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Iraqi Taxi!

These specimens were in sales here in the mid-80's, after they came from a "cancelled"  :shuffle: order.

Really well done.  Sure looks a lot nicer than that unimaginative plastic :censor: some people put in their yards this time of year.   :P

I think this probably falls more into the 'bad taste' category rather than being interesting, but here goes...

Today I was on the highway in Saint John and I was coming up on what I thought was a Civic Si but as I got closer I could see it was a Civic Type R.  Those are pretty rare here in NB.  What was 'interesting' about this was that I noticed that the car was sporting a big set of aftermarket mudflaps.  There they were in all their glory flapping in the wind.  They even stuck out a bit from the wheel wells.

Jesus...

Bad taste? I saw this Joker Mustang the other week. Huge Joker logo on the hood.

Must be some kind of trend.  I see quite a few souped up civics around that oddly have those expedition style roof racks installed with big off-road use light bars mounted on them.   :-\

Watching these guys as I eat my lunch.  Windy as hell here.  At one point the green guy was ~50' in the air.

One of my coworkers got hit head on a couple of weeks ago.  The pickup truck that hit him was going the wrong way on a divided hwy as it was being chased by the cops.  It was just before rush hour and the truck had three tires taken out earlier by a spike belt.  They cops behind them figured they were travelling ~120km/h at time of impact.  Not sure how fast my buddy was going.  He has no idea.  Neither of the three goons in the truck had seat belts on and were all injured but not badly.  The worst was a broken leg.  My buddy essentially walked away.  He was some sore for several days afterward and has a huge bruise in the shape of a seatbelt across his chest.

The Transit van did pretty damn well in protecting him considering the impact.  Pretty good validation n how well crush zones work in modern vehicles.  He's some damn lucky to be alive.  Not sure how well the older E-Series vans would have handled this.  :-\

Anyways, the van was sitting ominously in the parking lot when i arrived at work late this morning.  :P

Wow - that would have been one heck of an impact. I am surprised the bad guys made out so well.

Couldn't miss this thing.  These look so small now.  Interesting how the cab is almost dead centre.

New Tesla supercharger install just up the road from my house.  They've been there for a couple of months now but I have yet to see one in use.

Third sighting of new Mustang convertibles dressed up for winter commuting, wearing steelies and the mandatory snow tires. From my yet-to-be-published review of the EB/auto 'vert, these are so tail happy that I hope the "snow/rain" mode is really effective.

On our way to Wpg yesterday afternoon (for work, so it counts) - saw my first new Supra.  Holy hell what a gorgeous car!!  It was modded, lowered, fatter tires...and being driven cautiously on the maybe slippery highway...but fack.  :o    Thing looked evil in black.  The rear is sexy as hell, the front looks like it's about to chomp on your ass if you don't let it by.  Sorry...I gots AWD! Sucka! (Oh wait...I'm driving a Fusion... :'()
