Recentish cos of the centre brake light.     A late mode 90 or even a rare 105.

Last week   a Daimler SP250 parked outside a Harveys.
Today a car that I think might have been a Ford model A   in downtown Guelph... again, damn traffic lights!

Two week ago a WWII vintage motorcycle and sidecar ;couldn't get close  'cos of traffic lights

Just look at this ass hat. A lifted super duty with tires that stick out 6 inches on each side.

In Ontario  that could be taken off the road and the plates removed.  I defy anyone to find a cop who would do that.     Jeeps are often set up the same and they never get pulled over either.   Facking dangerous  for the spray and snow in winter.  That truck is lifted so its headlights are too high.    Lifting will change the suspension angles which does no good for grip and handling.

I would make that sort of stuff subject to the same random checking as is now legal for pot and booze.

Cops used to stop people like that in the past. I remember when I was in high school a buddy had a 70's Z28 and the back tires were pretty wide & sticking out of the wheel wells... cops stopped him a few times & actually measured the distance the tires were sticking out, but he was within the legal limits.

Are those uncommon out East? BroDozers like this are as common as beige Camrys in Alberta lol.

They are fairly common in Eastern Ontario as soon as you leave the urban areas.  Quite a few in the parking lot at work

In Guelph this am.   A procession of MGs.
All looked immaculate. All with the tops down of course and all the T series driven by old farts like me...although I’d never wear a tweed flat cap!

2 TDs , 1 TF,  1 TD, 1 Magnette, 1 TF, 1 TD.
Not a wire wheel amongst them and surprising to me, not a TC  in the line up. There may of course have been some that I didn’t see.
I guess a meet somewhere.

In Ottawa I only see Brodozers a few times a year, not common at all.

I can see trucks like that getting more popular.  5 years from now, it will be part of the build & price!   One of the reasons people bought SUV's and trucks in the past was to sit high, see over things.  Now the everybody has trucks and suv's, they needed something even higher!   ;D

Absolutely. there is already what, 30 cents of taxes in every dollar worth of gas? Let's add another 10. At roughly 20L/100km consumption of these trucks the big brother will collect $10 at the current gas prices, every 100km. But hey, as long as they can see farther and beyond...  ;D

Canada should tax fuel like they do in France and Belgium. That will fill the coffers real fast, fund needed infrastructure projets, and be better for the environnement as people are desincentivised to consume too much of a limited resource that alters the world's climate.

Oh wait, this is a car forum........ :run:
