323 Hatch was my next guess, closely related.
Yup, looks like 85-89 model.

Coming out of the office, walking to the car park, a guy idling at the curb, on the phone, in this, medium blue over tan leather...

So, this was a few weekends ago, I just didn't get around to posting it until now.  I thought it was very interesting.

I didn't catch where the license plate was from, although I'm assuming he was from out of province and is possibly travelling around.  Cops were swarming all over it.  It looked like they were checking tire load ratings.  The cab of the truck was also filled with stuff, from floor to roof.  The driver would not have been able to see out of the passenger window.

Looks more like a good carpenter who happens to be familiar with the basics of aerodynamics.  :)

Jezus!
At first glance I thought the rear end was just sagging a bunch, but it looks like the frame is bent?

So, this was a few weekends ago, I just didn't get around to posting it until now.  I thought it was very interesting.

Driving back home, I see a new R8 enter the highway with a C7 right on its tail. I expected both to zoom out of view ... but no, they just blended into traffic. The R8 made race car noises while just following under-speed limit traffic  ;D

I would have been disappointed, but also kudos to them for acting responsibly.

Coming home from work was odd.

First, there was a 5 car collision at the start for road works that had just gotten set up  ::)

Then saw a bunch of Americans later broken down on the side of the autobahn. How did I know? The red hazard lights and the too-small-sized licence plates, and the fact one of them was a Chevrolet Cobalt and the other was a Mustang GT.

Yesterday while at work I came across a couple from Florida hauling this beautiful Bowlus.  They were parked on the side of a secondary road looking lost, so i took the opportunity to turn around and ask them if they needed help.  They were simply driving around looking for adventure and couldn't decide whether to go to Grand Manan Island, or to Newfoundland...lol.  They were also looking for a a good walking trail to exercise their two dogs.  I told them it was their lucky day as I know just about every good trail in the area, I to Grand Manan several times a year and have hiked just about every trail there over the years, and I just came back from two weeks in NF where we hiked the entire time.

What a great couple of people with a good sense of humour.  We talked for quite a while, had a few laughs, and I gave them all the detailed info they could handle for where to go and what to do.  They wanted to call my boss and put in a good word for me but then I told them the real reason I stopped was to look at the Bowlus.   ;D   I told them that I came across a web article about their revival a couple of years ago but didn't think I'd ever get to see one in the flesh.  They just chuckled and gave me a nice tour of the interior and a walkaround.  The interior is what you would expect from a high-end boat.  In fact, the exterior looked like an inverted boat.  What a beauty!  Very expensive but real craftsmanship doesn't come cheap.  He said he bought it at a trade show in Vegas when it was introduced and got it at a significant discount.  It was one of the first produced.  It was being towed by a Range Rover.  It was one classy setup.  8)

I saw lots of really nice adventure style motor homes while i was in NF, but nothing of this caliber.  Made my day!

BTW, they decided on NF.  ;D

Thats a very interesting piece of kit, sort of a modernized, high end Airstream. I can't for the life of me justify the $185k price, quality trimmings or not.
Lighten up Francis.....
