Saw a Saab 900 Turbo this morning, damn thats a good looking car. Very well maintained specimen as well, perfect black paint. Dammit Saab, you could've been someone, you could have been a contender.

...until you were bought by General Motors  ;)

That to me was the death knell for them. They went from a quirky, forward thinking company to one selling rebadged plain, boring GM sedans.

If you haven't seen it yet, Top Gear (Clarkson days) did an excellent piece on SAAB when it folded. A must-see.

Is that the one where they drop a pre-GM Saab on its roof and basically nothing happens and then they drop a post-GM Saab in the same manner and its roof crumples like a pop can? Or am I thinking of a completely different episode?

They compared a Saab 900 with an E30: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1Z284Fv0cc

Coming out of my neighbourhood this morning, crossed a black Ferrari "breadvan", like this one:

I really like my 'burb  :)

Awesome. By far my favourite modern Ferrari.

Pretty sure it's a Dodge, don't know anything else.

I also just saw a Lotus Elan on the way home, right behind a TR-6

at the shop: Caddilac CTS-V with the supercharged 6.2. And a Camaro ZL1 murdered out and specced perfectly.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

A Fiat X1/9 is parked at the condo. Sort of a gunmetal blue and with minilite style wheels. Looked to be in good shape from a distance.

Also, the guy who parks next to me seems to have traded his older red Mazda3 hatch for a new AWD one in that absolutely terrific red colour.

 :rofl2:  Nice one!

Some interesting iron today in St Andrews.   I believe that's a Studebaker Avanti behind the 300S.  Almost impossible to see the E-Type coupe in the far background, and behind some old Vauxhall, or similar '50s era sedan

The Gentry are back in town.   ;D

Saw a Kia Stinger earlier this morning in that grey colour that looks like primer.  Colour doesn't look too bad on a truck but not the most flattering for a sporty car imo.  :P

Was it Ghost Grey?

That's it.
Pretty ugly in that colour

Audi has a version but a little lighter and works ok

I'd drive one...

I think it’s a Humber Imperial.  Look carefully at the lines.  The Vauxhall Cresta had much more pronounced tail fins.

Good eye!   Especially since it was such a crappy photo.

Two new cars in the parking lot. New Mazda3 and a Honda Clarity.

The paint on the Mazda is beautiful.

What is the non-descript black sedan in the parking lot?  It's so generic-looking I can't actually tell what it is...  ;D ;D
