Not on the way to work...but yesterday, we were in Wpg and at a stoplight, and every car was black, white, or some shade of the two.  Weirdest thing ever.  10-12 cars stopped to our left...all but one was black/white/grey.  Across the road coming towards us...90% black & white. To the right...what?  Yup, more of the same.  We made the left turn, 2 white, 3 black and 1 grey vehicle in the Starbucks coffee drive-thru.  I swear, if there was 50 cars all told, 40+ of them were B&W.  Does no one buy colour anymore?

Drove past a dealer, back row of trucks...nothing but black and white.  Talk about dystopian... :P ::)

Our local FCA dealer used to have a crazy display of colourful pickups parked in the front row of the lot. Bright orange, lime green, pink, deep blue... It was like a Skittles bag dumped out on the pavement.

Was fun to look at, but I wondered about the business case for it. Surely they didn’t expect to sell them all in our small town? Maybe it was easy enough to trade with a city dealer if someone wanted one?

Anyway, seems like they’ve gone away from the crazy colors recently. There’s maybe one or two, but mostly it’s the more normal shades.

Why do people all buy their cars in monochrome colours ? That is something I have struggled for years to understand.

I mean, we prefer our lives to be in colour. Television, gardens, decor, clothes, stuff that we see everyday. So why cars in monochrome ?

I think some worry about resale. Will that orange (green, blue, whatever) be hard to sell? Some don't want to stand out. Some don't care.

I like colour says the guy with a purple and two red cars plus an orange bike. The wife's van is black but its a van and hers.

I saw a grey IS-F pull away from a stop sign near my house this morning.  It was definitely an IS-F (and not some badge job) because I heard the V8 as it accelerated past me.

My buddy is coming back from Italy today and sent me this picture form the airport. Wondering if the Lambo is my present.

A 944 Turbo absolutely SPANK a new Mustang GT on the freeway in a roll-on.  Did it twice to prove to the 'Stang it was no fluke.  The 944 chirped it's tires at 110km/h.  I'm suspicious it is not stock...

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Yesterday on the 401 a green Lambo using all the lanes. License plate = SECRTWPN or something like that.

Than later than night on the club ride one of the guys says he saw a green Lambo with the same plate.  Maybe it was Beeber going home.

* He has a house just outside Cambridge.
