Remember when excessively flamboyant styling was reserved for the commoners who bought pony cars and the German premium brands were all about having an iron fist in a kid glove? Apparently only Pepperidge Farm remembers.

what are the homologation rules? They seem to be different for every race and class and change all the time.

This.

Prior to this, the new C7 Z06 was allowed to race when you couldn't buy it.

No idea how the rules work.

Late-model Dodge Aspen coupe, painted Plum Crazy, with cheap chrome mags and twin tiny exhaust pipes, obviously a V8 by the sound. Typical "survivor list" on one corner, puff of lift-throttle oil smoke.

A relatively nice and conservative Jaguar S Type R, but the knob driving it was smoking. Terrible way to treat a car. He just left the liquor store with Busch beer, so obviously he has no taste anyway.

Saw a Ferrari 812 on the way to the office. Ferrari's are a rare siting in S'toon. Thing sounded like a race car just cruising down the street. Fackin awesome.
