A friend of mine had a 75 Caprice Classic back in our last year of high school.  It was yellow with the big 454 and a beautiful car.  Does look good with those moon disks.   :o

^ Kind of funny that Caprice is probably bigger than the Raptor (I think it is) in the background...

When I see those, i'm reminded of my youth; we had a 73 Pontiac Catalina, with an Olds 350 V8 in it.  About 1981 or so, it was so rusted out that my father traded it for 8 cords of hardwood.  The guys he traded it to used it to break a path through the snow to get the truck into the woods to haul out firewood.
My diesel car self-identifies as an electric vehicle.

Very cool looking convertible.

An uncommon sight these days - a very nice looking Alfa Romeo 164 LS sedan.

Note the ass specialist sign above - haha. (it is of course glass with the gl cut off).  :rofl2:

1975 Chevrolet Caprice

The mother of a friend of us had a Caprice very similar to that one. Being young adults in 1978 (yes, it was 40 years ago), all 3 friends used to share gas expense when we were going out... but that car was out of budget to drive it around, with no spare money left to have good time anywhere so we rode more economically sensitive vehicles available but damn, the limousine feeling in that boat on wheels had ...

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Went for a walk downtown last night and saw two interesting cars.

First was a white 1980s Chrysler Town & Country wagon with woodgrain panelling. It looked to be in very good condition.

Next was a 1980s Pontiac Parisienne which looked to be in mint condition.

There's something about 30+ year old mediocre cars that have been well taken care of that intrigues me.

As I was walking to work this morning a white Corolla drove past with a very flat tire making a ton of noise.  The driver seemed oblivious.

with the Taylor Swift cranked and the constant thumping put down to utterly appalling spring road surfaces, coupled with a semi-zombie driver....I can see it

At the office yesterday morning. Looks like the owner is thankful and proud to display it.
