This past week - VW Corrado and a late '80s Toyota Van which was in perfect shape thanks to BC plates!

And tonight -  a beautiful first-gen BMW 735.

I saw the identical Mazda3 again yesterday.  Honked the horn and waved.

At work this morning I tried to get up one of my radio sites but didn't get very far.  It's accessed by a 4.5km access road but after the heavy rain last weekend, and the subsequent freeze over, the hill was a complete sheet of ice.  I use a Mule side-by-side with tracks and the tracks are useless on the ice.  I just barely made it a few hundred feet before i got  stuck, then did a couple of 360s on the way down, and came close to being swallowed up in the huge washout that used to be a ditch just last week.  That was fun!  :o  The guy i brought with me was smart enough to get out before i made my way back down... :rofl2:

Yes indeed.  I actually think i have a problem with the differential as only one side was spinning, which in hindsight is a good thing.  The road condition gets much worse toward the top so making it up any further would have made for an even scarier trip down.   :P  It's now in the shop for service.

First gen Acura Legend.  No visible rust, looked really nice — too nice to be someone’s winter beater.  Would be a neat old beast to have as a ‘modern classic.’

Very slippery on the roads this morning.  We had heavy rains yesterday and now it's starting to freeze.  I broke traction a couple of times on the way into work.  Gonna be lots of fender benders this morning.  Gotta love rain in the middle of winter.  ::) :P

Surprised to hear that....still around +3 here in Millidgeville. Hopefully things will dry up a bit before we get down below freezing later today.....or they will get salt down and let the sun work.

Millidgeville was the worst lol.  I didn't have any slippage until i got to the dark area between the Lafarge plant and the Esso station.  When i got to the driveway for our work centre i couldn't get enough traction to turn, so i carried on to the next one a couple of hundred feet away. That was around 7:15.

Funny, I noticed that this morning, Boars HeadRd had some really icy spots at 7:45.

Hadn't seen a Bolt in person yet and then this morning there were three in front of my hotel.

Walking to the office I a black Kia Stinger went by me. I'll need to get a closer look at one but it didn't seem that impressive.

Also saw a Range Rover Velar yesterday, silver with the black roof and trim. It looked awesome and I'm hoping some of the details make their way into the next big body Range Rover.

Saw this G8 this morning.  These are a rare sight around these parts and especially in the winter.  This design will age well imo and this particular one looked really good in this blueish-grey colour.   8)

It's really too bad that the GXP model (which offered a manual) wasn't sold in Canada.

I think a handful were...recall reading during a deep-forum-dive that 5 or 6 manual GXPs were sold in Canada.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Rare indeed - great find.

Coincidentally, speaking of blue-ish limited-run V8 sedans, i spotted this an hour ago. These babies are definitely aging gracefully, 10/10 would snow-drift  8)
