Saw a new Defender tonight. Driving in opposite directions so didn't get a good look but thinking I might like it.

Also saw a C8 Vette, might be liking the looks less as it doesn't stand out as much as I was hoping. The C7 is much more unique.

A colleague offered me the chance to buy his 2018 Yukon XL a few weeks ago, which I passed on.  I did park beside his new ride today....a black 2019 Suburban RST.  I must say, pretty sharp and exactly what I would want in an SUV.  Maybe I will buy that one in a couple of years  :rofl2:

Your colleague should have waited for the 2021 model. I don't see much point in trading a GMC for a one year newer Chevrolet equivalent.

He's had something like 15 full size GM SUV over the past 20 years.  He always buys executive demos, the dealers know he like to flip them often and reach out whenever they've got something interesting.  He said he will likely drive this one 24 months.

Yeah, but going from a GMC to a Chevy is a bit of a downgrade...

I believe it upgraded him from the 5.3 to the 6.2, plus Magnetic Ride, etc.

^ Awesome.  ;D

Stopped in to see my bils new Highlander that he just picked up this morning. Best part is the gigantic moonroof skyroof.  Who needs a convertible with something that huge.  He pulled it into the garage before i could snap a pic of that..lol
Yes and no.  We have the hugest (believe me!) moonroof in creation on the Q7 and between the heavy tint and the fact that the opening is out of your line of sight behind you, it's only a big deal for the 2nd and 3rd row passengers.

Yeah wait until you take a rock in that thing..

Yeah, that almost never happens around here.  I've driven over 500K Km for work in the last ten years and only had a rock hit the windshield twice.  Funny thing was both were within 6 months of each other and just a couple of years ago.  Owned many vehicles over the years and almost all had original windshields when i got rid of them.  Lots of small rock spray in winter though.

Found out last night that my other sister and bil are waiting for their new Highlander Hybrid to be delivered.  My two older sisters always seem to be in step with each other...lol.

Followed a TR4 up Bank Street this evening, and then saw a third-gen MR2 parked around the corner from my place.

I think this counts as interesting.

 ;D

Naturally I overtook it, towing a trailer...  :rofl2:

Pulled in to take a picture beside the Camaro. Lol

It’s actually at a restaurant beside the dealership.

Hmmmm...I followed this guy off the highway for over a kilometer or two before he actually got out to look.
When he finally pulled off the road and turned right the rubber went left.

So, what's cooler?  The Ford GT40?  Or the ramp truck?
